Medway Individual Placement Support (IPS)

What is Medway IPS?

This Individual Placement Support (IPS) service works in tandem with our Medway Treatment and Recovery Service (RIVER) to support individuals in active recovery into work through skills development and job coaching. 

Our employment specialists also work closely with our employer partners to build close working relationships, which helps people who use our service step closer towards sustainable employment.

Access to this service includes:

  • Tailored one-to-one job search support.

  • CV and covering letter preparation.

  • Careers advice and information.

  • Interview practice and techniques.

  • Information and signposting to other services.

  • Ongoing support for up to three months after sustaining a job placement.

IPS at Medway is funded by The Department of Health, Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, in partnership with Medway Council and IPS Grow.

 

Who do we help?

We provide support to people who are receiving support from our Medway (RIVER) service or Open Road partners.  

If you live in Medway and you’re aged 19 or over, and have issues with drugs or alcohol, access our RIVER service.
