With a specialist service centre in Dover and the surrounding community-based clinics stretching from Folkestone to Deal, the Dover and Folkestone hub offers a full range of drug and alcohol treatment packages.
We support service users across the Shepway and Dover districts, drawing on the experience of our dedicated team of professionals to provide the most appropriate treatment options available.
To access our services, individuals can make an online referral using the forms below or call us – be ready to share a few brief details. The individual will then be allocated a keyworker who will contact them to book an initial assessment.
Each assessment takes about one hour. We’ll ask about people’s history and goals for the future.
The support we offer at our Dover hub is tailored to each person’s needs, so will look slightly different for everyone.
Our services include:
One-to-one and group support.
A ‘Community Rehabilitation Day Programme’ for people who want structured support to become abstinent whilst living in their community.
Health checks and testing for blood-borne viruses, including Hepatitis C.
Detox help.
Medication assisted treatment and naloxone dispensing.
Needle exchange.
Support from peers who have been through similar experiences.
