Clean Air Day is the UK’s largest air pollution awareness campaign and here at The Forward Trust, we are proud to stand with organisations across the country in recognising its importance.
As part of our ongoing commitment to achieve Net Zero emissions, Clean Air Day serves as a reminder of why our mission matters. Air pollution is one of the greatest environmental risks to public health. Through our efforts to reduce carbon emissions across all aspects of our operations, we are taking meaningful steps to contribute to cleaner and healthier air for everyone.
Transport and energy use are major contributors to both carbon emissions and local air pollution. Our work in rehabilitation services, community programmes and prisons means we are not just responsible for internal targets. We have a duty to set an example that prioritises the health and wellbeing of our staff, service users and communities.
As part of our carbon reduction strategy, we aim to:
Let Clean Air Day 2025 be an inspiration — not just for awareness, but also for action. Together, we can create cleaner environments, reduce our environmental footprint and promote healthier lives for all.
