The Forward Trust Enterprise Support team has supported Tinyan with his organisation, Chasing Prospects CIC, for many years now. Chasing Prospects helps young people to develop skills for employment through advice, support, and training.
Tinyan’s designated Forward enterprise coach helped him with all aspects of setting up his business, including funding advice, where to find resources, and networking opportunities. His enterprise coach also provided very helpful advice about the financial implications of setting up a business and helped Tinyan refine his business plan.
Covid-19 and the lockdowns presented various challenges, but Tinyan’s enterprise coach continued to work with him throughout. Tinyan took part in Forward’s series of online enterprise masterclasses, which were rewarding and informative, with practical takeaways and resources. They helped him develop new ideas and knowledge, as well as resilience when setbacks occur.
On his experience of working with Forward, Tinyan said:

“With the support of my enterprise coach, I successfully applied for a small business grant through the Forward Enterprise Microgrant pilot, which has helped my organisation take the next step to help diversify how I deliver workshops.”
